The Hand of Fatima, or Hamsa, is a culturally very significant motif. It is said in a hadith that the Prophet (peace be upon him) told his daughter Fatima that the best way to sabih (give thanks to God) is not through rosary beads, but through using our fingers to mark the count.
This piece with the heart in the centre and imperfect mirror image was first designed and made by me in 2013. This piece is a remade version of the original, for Ghurrah customers.
