Returns & Refunds Policy

At Ghurrah Fine Jewellery, every piece of jewellery is meticulously handcrafted and made to order, ensuring that it is tailored to the unique preferences and specifications of each customer. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we operate a strict No Refund and No Return Policy. Please read the following terms carefully:

1. No Refunds or Returns

Customised Orders: All of our jewellery pieces are custom-made or made to order based on customer specifications, including design, size, materials, and personalisation. As such, we are unable to accept returns, process exchanges, or offer refunds once the order has been placed and confirmed.

Personalised Pieces: Any jewellery that has been personalised with engraving, custom sizing, or specific material requests falls under this policy and cannot be refunded or returned for any reason other than those outlined under the defect policy below.

2. Order Confirmation

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation detailing your selected specifications. Please carefully review the confirmation. If any changes are required, these must be communicated to us within 24 hours of receiving the order confirmation. After this period, no changes or cancellations can be made to your order.

3. Exceptions for Defective or Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that your jewellery arrives defective or damaged due to an error on our part, you are entitled to a repair or replacement of the item. To be eligible for this, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item, providing clear photographs and a detailed description of the defect or damage.

Inspection Upon Delivery: We strongly encourage customers to inspect their jewellery upon delivery and immediately report any concerns.

4. Non-refundable Circumstances

We cannot offer refunds or returns for any of the following reasons:

  • Change of mind after the order has been placed
  • Incorrect size or design selection after the order confirmation period
  • Minor variations in colour or design that naturally occur in handcrafted jewellery or gemstones

5. Final Sale

All items are considered final sale upon completion and delivery. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be granted under any circumstances other than manufacturing defects as outlined above.

6. Customer Satisfaction

We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery. If you have any concerns about your order, we encourage you to reach out to us at info@ghurrah.com so that we can address them.

By placing an order with Ghurrah Fine Jewellery, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Thank you for choosing Ghurrah Fine Jewellery for your custom jewellery. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to crafting a unique piece just for you!

Sizing

My ring/wrist size isn't listed on the website?

Ghurrah Fine Jewellery is an inclusive brand, and almost all ring sizes can be accommodated. However, the website limits SKUs, so there is a limit that appears on each page.

For rings smaller than a US size 4 or bigger than a US size 9, please reach out or make a note in the checkout.

Shipping & Tariffs

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to almost all countries. If for some reason your country is not listed, please email info@ghurrah.com.

What countries have duties and tariffs included?

Due to restrictions from Shopify, the countries we are able to cover duties for are: the European Union, UK, USA, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

All other countries are not duty-inclusive. You will have to pay duties and tariffs upon arrival.

How long does shipping take?

Ghurrah uses FedEx for shipping and orders are usually delivered 3-6 working days from dispatch.

Gold Karat

Are items available in alternative gold karats?

Almost all products that don't have prong-set gems can be made in 21k or 22k. Please reach out for a quote.

Ghurrah does not currently work in 14k or 10k gold.

Care

How do I take care of my pieces?

Our pieces are made to last a lifetime with proper care.

It is not recommended to sleep, or shower in your pieces. Over time, shampoo, lotions, and gels can build up and make gold and gemstones appear dull.

It is also recommended that rings are removed during activities that include: washing pots and pans, cleaning with harsh chemicals, exercising with weights, and gardening. These can damage settings and gems, predominately through the metal-on-metal contact.

Will my pieces tarnish or cause irritation?

All Ghurrah pieces are solid gold, and should not cause skin irritation.

However, some hand sanitizers, lotions or soaps can cause chemical reactions with gold. This may cause the gold to discolour, or your finger to turn black.

Using a soft toothbrush and gentle soap solution (liquid soap with plenty of water) or with toothpaste, scrub the piece until it shines.

If you are Bahrain-based, Ghurrah will do this for free.
